He ultimately wanted all of his followers to know and follow Jesus. Today, Pastor John will challenge you to point people to Christ in all you do continually .  It’s not about you and your popularity, but it’s about making Jesus known! Behold His Humanity - Part 2

January 24, 2022 • John Miller • John 1:14

It can be hard to wrap your mind around the choice Jesus made to leave Heaven.  He left the glory of Heaven to come to earth and face an unimaginable death.  He suffered, and he was dishonored. Why would He even do this?  Today, Pastor John explains the reasons why Jesus did this.  He came to provide an example for godly living, display God’s great love, reveal God to us, and ultimately die for our sins.  His love for you was so great He was willing to do whatever was necessary to reconcile you back to God. Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of John chapter 1 as he continues his message Behold His Humanity.

Behold His Humanity - Part 1

January 21, 2022 • John Miller • John 1:14

The incarnation of Jesus is a great mystery to man.  But, according to God’s word, He has always existed and is fully God.  Yet, Jesus chose to leave the glory of Heaven to come to earth as a human.  The mystery of how He can still be fully God and yet, born of a woman, fully man, is beyond comprehension.  But today, Pastor John will encourage you to lay aside the confusion and simply trust in God.  He’s able to do the miraculous and wonderful.  It’s heresy to discount either his full humanity or deity. Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of John chapter 1 as he begins his message Behold His Humanity.

Some people, religious and non-religious alike believe that they can save themselves by just being good.  And many think that they can change themselves to be good by sheer will and good intentions.  Today, Pastor John teaches that God’s will and His grace alone save you and transform you into someone better.  God, through Jesus, draws you to himself, convicts you of sin, puts the desire to believe in you, saves you, and sanctifies you.  You can’t boast about your good idea to go to God.  Instead, He searches you out and saves you! Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of John chapter 1 as he continues his message Behold Your God.

Behold Your God - Part 1

January 19, 2022 • John Miller • John 1:1–18

Words are incredibly powerful.  They help, hurt, guide, explain and reveal.  Today, Pastor John describes how Jesus is the word sent to the earth to reveal God to humanity.  The only way to know a holy and unknowable God is by Him revealing himself.   God wanted His people to know Him. So, in His great mercy, He gave us Jesus.  God speaks to us through Jesus, who came to earth as a man. If you want to hear God, you must look for and listen to Jesus. He is God’s word. You must follow Him. Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of John chapter 1 as he begins his message Behold Your God.

Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of Genesis chapter 1 as he continues his message The Sanctity of Marriage – Five Reasons Why.

The Sanctity of Marriage: Five Reasons Why - Part 1

January 17, 2022 • John Miller • Genesis 1

Society tries to place value and base their lives upon various sources of authority.  Things like government, education, popular opinion become what people build their lives upon.  However, as Pastor John teaches today, these systems are fragile, fickle, and in the end, worthless.  Ultimately, scripture has to be the authority of your life.  It’s God’s word to you.  It’s the only unchanging, right and unending truth there is.  It alone anchors your life, guides your path, and fulfills every longing.  Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of Genesis chapter 1 as he begins his message The Sanctity of Marriage – Five Reasons Why.

The Church and the Bible - Part 2

January 12, 2022 • John Miller • Ephesians 2:19–22

The church needs the Bible. But the Bible also needs the church! In today’s teaching, Pastor John will explain that the message of Scripture can’t go forward into the world unless we, the church body, take it! We must hold it out for all to see, to demonstrate it in our actions as well as our words. We can show people the good news within its pages, but they’re not going to pick up a Bible on their own. The church stands firmly on the foundation of the Word and then shares that Word with everyone else! Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of Ephesians chapter 2 as he continues his message The Church and the Bible.

The Church and the Bible - Part 1

January 11, 2022 • John Miller • Ephesians 2:19–22

Every building needs a good foundation! Without it, the walls will eventually crumble, and then you are left with a pile of ruins. This is true in the physical and spiritual world! The church body needs a solid foundation for faith, and without it, the entire group will collapse when trouble comes! In today’s message, Pastor John will talk about the foundation the Church is built on – the Bible! The faith of every believer comes from the words God has written down in Scripture. It’s the proof and solid foundation of who He is! Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of Ephesians chapter 2 as he begins his message, The Church and the Bible.

The Holy Spirit and the Bible - Part 2

January 10, 2022 • John Miller • 1 Corinthians 2:9–16

A misconception believers may have is to trust in their own strength to be a better person.  You may try and try to change habits, mimic Jesus, give up sin, but real transformation will never happen in your life without the Holy Spirit.  Today Pastor John will explain the transformative power of the spirit in your life.  You are saved and made righteous the moment you believe.  But, from that moment on, the spirit begins a work in you to grow you to become more like Jesus.  Don’t resist the work of the spirit. Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of 1 Corinthians chapter 2 as he continues his message, The Holy Spirit and the Bible.

The Holy Spirit and the Bible - Part 1

January 7, 2022 • John Miller • 1 Corinthians 2:9–16

How can one even begin to know God?  He is more than we can comprehend.  He is one God, one in essence, but three persons.  This is a mystery to the limited human mind. Yet, it’s through this very mystery that he has chosen to reveal himself to his people.  Today, Pastor John will explain that God can’t be known apart from revelation.   And God uses his spirit to reveal himself to believers.  Only by the work of the spirit can you understand the things of God.  If you want to know God, ask God in the spirit! Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of 1 Corinthians chapter 2 as he begins his message, The Holy Spirit and The Bible.
