Paul describes the three men that served the Lord beside him and how they handled the money given to them for the ministry of the Gospel of Christ. These men loved the people of God and their character was solid and trustworthy. They proved their dependability and good reputation with God and his people. These men are Paul, Titus and another man who the Bible does not name but the churches choose him to carry out this important humble duty.

Paul the Apostle defends his character and the ministry. True ministry will preach the Gospel of Christ, God’s grace and the Spirit of God through salvation. Believers enjoy liberty following sincere obedience and love of the Lord. Hope, faith and glory in God is a true mark of such holy vocation.
