Here in John’s Gospel we see the divine nature of Jesus Christ. We read, “In the beginning was the Word” and “the Word was with God.” As the book of Genesis gives us the time-frame of Biblical history John the Apostle gives us Jesus before time. Jesus is logos or God speaks and His Word is Jesus always with Him and manifested to the world for the Glory of God.
