Know Your Role (Part II)

Little do our kids know that we as parents are trying to figure things out just like they are. In many cases we are trying to figure out what role we need to play and when. It can definitely get overwhelming! However on the flip side, growing up can be confusing enough without having to raise our parents too. As children, young or old, we often forget that our role is much more than “consumer”. Knowing our roles as parents and children can take our family’s from confused and frustrated to joyful and fulfilled.
Know Your Role

Cause and effect is the relationship between two things when one thing makes something else happen. In other words, for every action, there is a reaction. This proves to be true in marriage. As a matter of fact, cause and effect can create such a powerful force in marriage that it can either be detrimental or the life source of a thriving marriage. It is crucial for us to know what role we play in this process and that we play that role to the best of our ability!

For far too long we’ve allowed culture to define what our families should look like and how they should run. The results have been heartbreaking. It is time for us to take back our families! It is time for our family to be all that God designed them to be.
