Part Four - Internal Transformation

The purpose of the rebuild was always about internal transformation. It makes no sense to go through a rebuilding process and continue with the same behaviors that contributed to the crisis in the first place. We must take the time to realign ourselves with God's word and admit where we need to make necessary changes.
Part Two - Securing the Foundation

After the preparation comes the building effort, starting with the foundation. The exiles who returned to Jerusalem weren't supposed to mourn what they had lost; they were supposed to remember what they could never lose. They build the altar, and then the foundation.
Part One - Examining our Assets

The first step in rebuilding is considering what assets we have to complete our project. Our assets will help us determine the course forward as we prepare to rebuild. In this sermon we'll consider the assets that God had given to his people as they prepared to rebuild the temple, and see how we have also been given those same assets as we look forward to a rebuilding ourselves.
