Mourning With Hope

A Restored Grief Support Group

May 22 - July 10, 2025

Have you recently experienced the loss of a loved one? Or do you have a loss from your past you have never addressed? In a fallen world, loss is inevitable but unfortunately learning to grieve in a healthy way isn’t. For far too many of us we never learned how to grieve in a way that allows us to heal and move forward.

This is where our “Mourning with Hope” Grief Support Group comes in.

Mourning with Hope is a safe and welcoming space to receive support and begin healing. Together, we’ll explore the grieving process, learn to lean on the Holy Spirit for strength, and find comfort in sharing our stories with others who understand. You’re not alone in your sorrow, and there is joy in both giving and receiving encouragement.

In this group, many have found emotional insight, personal growth, and spiritual renewal. We’ll press into the reality that Jesus was “a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief.”

Whether your loss is recent or long past, you are welcome here. The group will be facilitated by Monique Quimlat of Restored Southbay, a Certified Bereavement Coordinator, and Sydney Kitz, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist of Restored San Diego.

The groups run for eight weeks. Scholarships are available.

Time: 6:30pm-8:30pm on Thursdays, 5/22-7/10.
