Connected in Conflict

The recording this week had a malfunction and cuts off at 30 minutes. We apologize for the inconvenience. Brad finished the sermon by explaining how our union with Christ impacts our conflict: 1. You are in Christ, so your identity is not on the line during conflict. Because you have been made righteous in God's eyes through what Christ has done, you don't always need to defend yourself in conflict. 2. Christ is in you, so you have everything you need for true happiness. Jesus is a more satisfying source of power, approval, comfort and control, so you don't have to seek it elsewhere. He then concluded with 4 practical tips from Ken Sande's helpful book, Resolving Everyday Conflict: 1. Glorify God – Bring Jesus into your conflict 2. Get the log out – Own your part of the conflict 3. Gently restore – Help others own their part of the conflict 4. Go and be reconciled – Giving forgiveness and arriving at a reasonable solution
