Why We Celebrate?

People ask, what is Esther really about, why do we celebrate Purim? The whole story of Esther and the celebration of Purim is a reminder to us that God will always keep His promise to never leave or forsake His people. These promises are for Israel, the Jewish people, and for anyone from the nations who call on the name of Yeshua! The One true God extends an invitation to you to attend a banquet that He is preparing for those who know Him. He loves you, He sent His son Yeshua for you, it’s time to celebrate!

Where is God?

The book of Esther is a satirical, violent, sometimes humorous portrait of life outside of Israel. Unlike the books of Daniel and Ezra, Esther imagines life completely away from Jerusalem and the temple, and contains no mention of the Torah. In fact, Esther is the only book of the Bible that never mentions God. In life, we often find ourselves asking, “Where is God?” — The answer to that question can be found in the amazing story of Esther!
