We Are Forgiven

Part 3 - We Are

September 15, 2018 • Matt Rosenberg

In this season, the ten days of Awe, we focus on repentance. We heard the sound of the shofar on Rosh Hashanah, calling us to repent, and we receive forgiveness of our sins on Your Kippur. The Shabbat between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur is called Shabbat Shuvah because the word Shuvah means to turn around or “To Return”. Simply, stop walking in the direction you are going and turn around and walk the other way. Return to God, the one who created you. At Restoration, we want to help people move from where they are to where God wants them to be. First in salvation, understanding the need you have for Yeshua to save you from your sin. Second, to know that you are forgiven, and live forgiven, so you can extend the same forgiveness to others. That’s why one of our core vales is “We Are Forgiven" because “We know that every setback is chance to comeback.” God is calling all people to return to Him, including you!

"We Are Forgiven" is part 3 of the series "We Are."
