Why Community Matters

March 23, 2019 • Matt Gile

We are concluding our series titled 'Different' where, in the context of our five-year anniversary as Restoration, we've been exploring our core values, and what makes us a little different. As believers, we are called to live in community with others, and at Restoration we say that a believer without a congregational home is a contradiction. God has given each one of us a specific set of gifts and talents, and our purpose is to use those to bless and serve others, and further the Kingdom of God here on earth. And when we come together and use our gifts toward one common purpose, we can have greater impact than any one of us individually, because we are better together.

It may not be as clear as you hope!

Why Messianic Judaism Matters For Everyone

March 2, 2019 • Matt Rosenberg

Messianic Judaism is different. The modern Messianic Movement has been wrestling with our identity for over 100 years. Can there really be Jewish followers of Jesus who maintain Jewish identity? Does Jewish identity even matter in Messiah? Is there supposed to be a distinction between Jew and Gentile in Messiah? At Restoration one of our core values is the reflect the Jewishness of Yeshua and we believe that everyone, especially followers of Jesus, need to understand why Messianic Judaism matters for everyone.
