We Are Family

Part 2 - We Are

September 8, 2018 • Matt Rosenberg

"We are Family" is the second core value of Restoration. Jew and Gentile, male and female we believe everyone belongs in the family of God. Our goal is not to have a synagogue full of Jews, our goal is diversity, to see people from every nation, tribe and language know Yeshua. The truth is God doesn't have any grandchildren. He only has children. He wants all of His children to love and know Him. So we preach that anyone and everyone may hear of the great things that God has done through His son, Yeshua our Messiah.

“We Are Family” is part 2 of the series "We Are."

More from We Are

We Are Together

October 6, 2018 • Aybars Uckun

We Are Together is part 6 of the series We Are. /// In order for God to work unity into our lives, we need to address anything that hinders His plans for us. That means letting go of any agenda that keeps us from fully participating in the communities He’s called us to be a part of. We are better together!

We Are Servants

September 29, 2018 • Matt Rosenberg

We Are Servants is part 5 of We Are. /// We are servants and we serve God by serving others. The opposite of serving others is found in the story of Jonah in the Bible. Jonah is a prophet but a bad one who only thinks of himself. He begrudgingly does what God commands him to do only after he runs away and then does the bare minimum. Jonah is awful. So why is his story in the Bible? Because you're awful too! Jonah is an example of what not to be but Yeshua, our Messiah, is the exact opposite. With all the power in the universe He came down into creation to offer Himself as a sacrifice for awful people. We want to follow Yeshua's example and serve people like Him. We serve God by serving others. It's who we are!

We Are Generous

September 22, 2018 • Matt Gile

At Restoration, we are irrationally generous with our resources because God has been irrationally generous with us. We believe that--just as God said to Abram that He would bless Abram so that he may be a blessing to others--we are blessed so that we may be a blessing. But before we can be truly outrageously generous, we must first get financial stability in our own lives. Using Dave Ramsey's Baby Steps, we work to get our financial houses in order so that we can be outrageously generous, and give like no one else. “We Are Generous” is part 4 of the series “We Are.”
