What does it actually mean to be loving in our culture? What does it mean to be loving as a Christian man or Christian woman toward those within the church as well as outside the church? What does it mean to be loving when it comes to the issue of human sexuality? And how do we actually model the image of God as male and female? Join us in a dialogue about human sexuality in the Kingdom of God.
Migration in Light of Scripture
November 4, 2018 • Chris Bennett & Karen Spencer
'After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”'
We joyfully anticipate the full expression of the Kingdom of God as described in Revelation 7:9-10. But how do we consider the Kingdom implications in the now-but-not-yet when we look at the nations globally, or as the nations come here? Join us this Sunday as we discuss migration in light of scripture.
Kingdom Come
October 28, 2018 • Chris Bennett & Ron Surgeon
We’ve been talking in great detail about our lives in the ever-present Kingdom of God, the Kingdom of the Heavens which is, concisely, the entanglement of our lives with the Spirit. Entangle means to be twisted together with something, in this case, with someone. Entangled with God. Your real life twisted together with the Spirit. Today we want to focus on the future reality of that Kingdom. A future of biological, spiritual, social, political, psychological, and ecological wholeness. “Look, I am making all things new” (Rev. 21:5). Jesus is King.
