Thriving In Loneliness

June 10, 2018 • Mark Booth

Both your own life and scientific evidence proves that human beings can thrive even in the worst of circumstances. Even in the midst of tremendous loneliness, women and men can indeed thrive.
One of the main reasons people don’t thrive during times of loneliness is the perception that they are alone — the only one. This is a fallacy that defeats us and puts us in survival mode instead of what I call, “Thrival Mode.”
“You Are Not The Only One: Thriving In Loneliness,” is the new series beginning this weekend at Renewal Chapel in Huntington, WV and online for all of you around the world who a part of our extended body of believers.
Jesus Himself proved to us that we are not “the only one” during times of deep loneliness. He said, “…I am not alone, because the Father is with Me” (John 16:32c NASB).
And because Jesus, we too can live from that same vital truth and deep experiential awareness of the Father’s presence with us.
