Resound

The Art of Worship

Heart of Worship

December 5, 2021 • Chris Heller

Do you know what the word 'resound' means?  It has a three-fold meaning: ‘to make a sound that will echo’, ‘to fill a place with particular sounds’, ‘to fame a person's name, or speak much of’. This series will visit the Christmas account in Luke 1 & 2. Our prayer for this series is that as you hear the heart of worship, see the attitude of worship, and know the reason for worship, it will resound an ECHO HOLY in your life this Christmas season.

Attitude of Worship

How do you come before a king? Does our mood matter? Join us to see what God wants from our hearts and minds in the presence of worship for Him.

The Call to Worship

December 19, 2021 • Chris Heller

Why did God design us for worship?  Is it just for His deserving glory, or do we somehow benefit in our worship of Him as well? The first two chapters of the gospel of Luke and the events taking place in the little town of Bethlehem present us with a place to "Come and worship, come and worship, worship Christ the newborn king!"

The Response of Worship

December 26, 2021 • Jon Adams

As we move into Luke 2, we’ll examine one more aspect of worship -- the response of worship. Most of us know Luke for the parts of the story that we’ve studied so far -- Mary and Joseph traveling to Bethlehem, the birth of Christ, the shepherds. But there’s more to Jesus’ birth than that. We’ll travel to a few locations, including a king’s palace and the temple of God, to find responses to Jesus now that Immanuel, "God with us", has arrived. We will examine what responses God desires from us in worship.
