SCRIPTURE REFERENCES: Romans 5:12, Matthew 7:7-11, Matthew 6:33 SERIES SUMMARY: The phrase #blessed has flooded social media posts everywhere but doesn’t depict the true meaning of the word blessed as God intended. Being blessed by God is a real thing and means true life that can only come from God Himself. God desires to bless our lives when we live according to His will. So how do we do that exactly? Jesus taught the key to living a blessed life. Last week we studied that those who are poor in spirit are blessed. This week, we take a look at mourning and what it means to turn to God in the midst of our pain.
