The book of Proverbs is many things. But one thing it is fundamentally is a book about making men. A book particularly about making masculine men. About making men with Godward souls, men with God-fearing hearts, men with chests. Making men of thought and wisdom and men of verve and joy. Making tenacious men—men who glory in shouldering weight in the service of the good and the true.
In this sermon, Pastor Brian continues our verse-by-verse study through the book of Proverbs with a look at masculinity.
