Identify and summarize the major themes, introductory matters, and the unique aspects of the theology, especially imitation theology, of 1 & 2 Thessalonians
Discuss 1 Thessalonians 2:13 and 4:13-18 in order to show some of the main teachings of 1 Thessalonians in relation to other parts of Scripture
Articulate the theology of Preaching as the Word of God, and the theology of the Resurrection and Second Coming and to summarize the two primary aspects of the phrase "Day of the Lord" as it is used in Scripture (1 Thess 5:1-11)
Discuss the "faith, hope, and love" triad of Paul and how he uses this triad depending on what the context is, the various views on the "man of lawlessness" and the "restrainer" of 2 Thessalonians, and Paul’s view of idleness
