The student will value biblical scholarship throughout Church history and its contribution to our understanding of the Bible.

The student will memorize the outline of Romans.

The student will assess the hermeneutical principles to biblical and theological scholarship, as well as to preaching and teaching. The student will synthesize the various theological approaches (ST, BT, RH).

Acts Introduction

The student will examine the authorship of Acts and its relationship to the Gospel of Luke. The student will evaluate various working outlines of Acts, with memorization of Dr. Cara’s Acts outline.

History of Interpretation of Acts

The student will analyze and critique critical and conservative views of Acts. The student will distinguish the primary and secondary purposes of Acts.
