The student will examine the problems leading to Jerusalem Council, the discussion and theology of the council and its conclusions.

The student will theologize how the conclusions of Acts 15 relate to Paul’s actions in Acts, as well as to modern situations.

The student will assess the hermeneutical principles to biblical and theological scholarship, as well as to preaching and teaching. The student will synthesize the various theological approaches (ST, BT, RH).

The student will examine the authorship of Acts and its relationship to the Gospel of Luke. The student will evaluate various working outlines of Acts, with memorization of Dr. Cara’s Acts outline.

History of Interpretation of Acts

The student will analyze and critique critical and conservative views of Acts. The student will distinguish the primary and secondary purposes of Acts.
