To examine man’s imitation of God before the fall and how sin affected the purpose of man, and to look at Psalm 8 as a prophecy of the second Adam

To introduce theories of Old Testament formation and the biblical response to these theories, and to provide an overview of creation in Genesis 1:1-3

To introduce the pattern in the six days of creation and to provide an overview of various evangelical positions on time in creation

To examine the relationship between the Bible and ancient literature
