You are invited to share and participate on the Reedy Fork Baptist Church Prayer Line. The prayer line is an effort to engage those who are serious and passionate about interceding on the behalf of the Church, its Pastor, staff, leadership, members, our community, State, Nation and the World. Persons may call in and participate daily at 6:33 a.m. by dialing the following number 1-712-770-5505. Access code 769622. Protocols and Instructions when dialing in: 1. If you call in before 6:33 am please announce your name when requested. After 6:33am or when the session has started please do not state your name. 2. RFBC Ministry Leaders and Ministry members have been selected to lead or participate in this intercessory prayer time. 3. Persons calling in are encouraged to invite others to join this intercessory prayer time. 4. All participants are requested to: a. Select a quite area or space with no noise or distractions when calling in to participate on the prayer line. b. Mute your phone until the corporate prayer time unless you are one of the participants. c. Place your phone on speaker and turn the volume down on your device so that you will not over power other callers. (If you have feedback on your device your devices volume is probably too high). 5. Persons making request are requested to make their appeal short and to the point. 6. During the time of corporate prayer please be decent and in order and not over talk/pray over others and drown them out (Note: the desire is for God to hear us and not other callers). This time is where each person on the line can pray along with others while interceding for the church, pastor, staff, members, community concerns etc. 7. Finally continue to pray throughout your day and seek to please Him above all else.
The Prayer Cell Group consists of seven (7) Cell Groups. Each Sunday the assigned Cell Group meets from 8:00 AM – 8:30 AM or how the Holy Spirit leads. The Cell Group prays for the leading of the Spirit for all activities during our Sunday Morning gathering. They also pray for the unsaved, those who are sick or shut in, as well as any prayer requests received during the week. The Cell Group meets in Room 201. “If My own people will humbly pray and turn back to Me and stop sinning, then I will answer them from heaven. I will forgive them and make their land fertile once again.” II Chronicles 7:14
The Sacrificial Prayer meeting is the first Saturday of each month at 5:00 AM for prayer. It is open to anyone with a heart for prayer. Persons attending do not have to be a member of RFBC. This prayer meeting takes place in Room 205 (Choir Room). “Always be joyful and never stop praying. Whatever happens, keep thanking God because of Jesus Christ. This is what God wants you do to. Don’t turn away God’s Spirit or ignore prophecies. Put everything to the test. Accept what is good and don’t have anything to do with evil.” I Thessalonians 5:16-22
Partners in Prayer Bible Study convenes the first Saturday of the month from 10:30 am – 11:30 am in Room 205 (Choir Room). It is a Bible Study designed to empower, encourage, strengthen, and develop Partners in Prayer to effectively pray for their church, Pastor, members/believers, community, as well as their own personal needs. This Bible Study is open to anyone who would like to increase their knowledge of prayer, as well as anyone considering becoming a part of the prayer ministry. “Do your best to win God’s approval as a worker who doesn’t need to be ashamed and who teaches only the true message.” II Timothy 2:15:
Please join us each 1st Sunday morning during our worship for an intentional prayer engagement called "Phone & Pray". Phone and Pray is created to reach out to persons that are members or non-members, believers or non-believers, healthy or sick to let them know that God loves them, that we love them and that we will continuously be praying for them. Each member/worshiper is requested to complete the following task in order to participate in the Phone & Pray. 1. Bring your cell phone to church with you on each 1st Sunday! 2. Pray for the Holy Spirit's leadership to select one person that you will call and will pray for during this time. 3. If you know who this person is before worship on Sunday, ask them if it is okay for us to call them for prayer. 4. Prepare for the call by having your phone and the phone number of the person you will be calling. 5. Finally, continue to be in prayer for the individual for the next 30 days or until God places someone else in your spirit. Don't forget to invite or bring them to church!
