For over a decade and a half, the broader Thunder Bay community has come together to fill Dilico Christmas Wish bags and bring joy to children in need during the holiday season.

We are eager to, once again, participate in this tradition of lovingly and generously filling hundreds of Christmas Wish bags for babies, children & youth in need this holiday season, and grateful to Dilico for making this initiative possible.

Bags will be available at the church beginning Sunday, Nov. 17 and will need to be returned to the church by Sunday Dec. 1.

If you are new to our community and new to the Dilico Christmas Wish bags, it's a beautiful thing. Here's how it works.

1. Pick up a bag (or two) from the foyer beginning Nov. 17. Your bag(s) will include a profile card that will list the age, gender, and wish list of a specific child whom the bag will be going to.

2. Fill your Christmas Wish Bag with essential items, toys or gift cards according to your child profile. Other gift suggestions: learning and art supplies, books, socks, tooth brush, mitts, hat, sweater.

*Please do not wrap your gifts. You are welcome to include a card with a special Christmas wish message.

3. Return the bag(s) to the church by Sunday, Dec. 1 so that Dilico can pick up all the bags and get ready to distribute them.
