NEW and IMPROVED!! Church camp is going to be different this year. Previously, we have been doing church camp at the headquarters of Redemption Ministries in Prince George, VA. But this year, we will be having church camp at Camp Cale for Middle School and High School combined. This one week of church camp, Middle School and High School combined, will take place on July 27-31. By having church camp at this location, we are not only able to provide a safer environment for all our campers but more exciting atmosphere. What can I expect camp to be like this year? Camp environment: More camp feel, outdoors, and next to the river that feeds into the ocean. Lodging: Two air conditioned bunkhouses (one for boys and one for girls) that sleeps 48 campers in each one. Bathrooms are in the bunkhouses. Services: Emmanuel College conquest will lead us worship in a spacious sanctuary and Tres Ward will be our camp speaker. Theme: The ____. We will be discussing the Holy Spirit's different roles in salvation history and how we live in relationship with Him based on this understanding. Activities: Team building/games, archery tag, swimming, knockerball, volleyball, Gaga ball, 9 square, rock climbing, rifle and archery, canoeing and kayaking, disc golf, and low ropes. Baseline Prices: $175 early registration (ends May 31), $200 regular registration (begins June 1 and ends June 30), and late registration (begins July 1 and ends July 27). Covers everything except some of the activities. Additional Cost: If you wish to participate in knockerball, rock climbing, rifle and archery, canoeing and kayaking, disc golf, and low ropes, then these activities will cost additionally to the baseline price. These additional costs are: $30 for each knockerball session (90 minutes) $5 for each rock climbing session (90 minutes) $3 for each rifle session (40 rounds per person) $13 for each archery session (90 minutes) $10 per canoe or kayak $5 for three discs $10 for each low ropes session (90 minutes) Special note on additional activities: We must have a minimum amount of participants for some of these additional activities, if the minimum is not met, then we will notify and refund you any money spent on an activity that will not be done. You must register for these activities by no later than July 20, 2021. Required Form: At the website for registration, you will need to download the camper application/medical form and fill it out.
