Day 23

Heavenly Father we lift up to You our prayers for orphaned children throughout the world, and especially those who are abused or neglected, that we might work to save them; We pray Father for children who are unwanted by their parents, that Your grace might send us and others to love and care for them; We pray Father for the children of our country, especially those who are forgotten or neglected, that their presence might remind us of the infinite value of human life; We pray Father for all unborn children that Your love for them may keep them safe until the joyous day of their birth; We pray Father for every little childand especially for those who live in their mother's womb, that they might grow in the image and likeness of You Father, who made them. And Father we pray for every mother that is without help, family and friends who find themselves at the end of their rope, give them Your mercy draw them to You Father, give them hope. We pray this in the precious name of Jesus. Amen

Day 21

Heavenly Father, we bow down before You giving thanks for all the wonderful things You have done and continue to do in our lives. We ask for grace and mercy, still our spirits and give us that peace which passes all understanding. Hear our prayers O Lord for we live in a world where things can be so confusing, where right is now wrong and wrong seems to be upheld as good and true. Therefore, we ask for Jesus’ of protection upon our President and Vice-President, our government officials, those running in this election, for our military, our police and firefighters. We know that all things work for good for those who love our Lord so we pray for help, guidance and courage to continue to do what is right and true. Help us O Lord open our eyes that we might see honesty and the light in the midst of this darkness. Be with us now as only you can. These things we pray in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Day 20

Heavenly Father, we are so blessed to have the pastors that You have brought to our congregation. Thank You for them and their families. We pray that as they faithfully deliver Your Word to us each week that they will be encouraged to know they are fulfilling Your commission to go into all the world and teach the gospel, in a very special way. Father strengthen their walk with You we pray and as they studie Your word and prepare to deliver the Truth of Scriptures to us each week, that they too would be fed from Your word. And we pray that You would send them encouragements from our congregation or other believers, with whom they come in contact, as well as opening up the Scriptures more and more to their own understanding as we all seek to mature in the faith. WE pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen

Day 19

Heavenly Father, Jesus had enemies . . . and they crucified Him. Yet, as we know, He had the ultimate victory in the end. But because You love the world so much and You sent Jesus to die, for those who were responsible for His death. Jesus, tells us to love and pray for our enemies. He demonstrated His love while hanging on the cross saying, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing” (Luke 23:34a). Father, in our flesh we naturally want to retaliate or fight back when we are treated unkindly or persecuted. Teach us forgiveness and mercy, to “Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful” (Luke 6:36). Let You Spirit strengthen us to live and demonstrate grace, mercy and forgivness that others might also. Show us how to “Pray for those who persecute us.” (Matthew 5:44b). Put within our hearts mercy so that like Jesus we too can “Be merciful to those who doubt; snatch others from the fire and save them” (Jude 1:22). Because of Your mercy Father, we were saved. Let us share the love of Christ to those who are still Your enemies, so that they might also become Your children. We pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen

Day 18

Heavenly Father, we have sinned against You and are not worthy to be called Your sons or daughters. Be merciful to us, for we are sinners. Like the prodigal son, Your word tells us, we have sinned against You and are no longer worthy to be called Your sons/daughters. Jesus, savior of the world, we pray like the repentant thief to whom You promised paradise: "Lord, remember me in your kingdom." Holy Spirit, we call on You to "purify our hearts, and help us to walk as children of the Light." Amen

Day 17

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and grateful hearts. We ask You to lift up those who are seated in places of authority in our nation. We seek wisdom and discernment for those representing our nation at the United States Presidency, in the Senate, in the House, and those representing us in our State and Local Governments. Give them wisdom on the difficult issues they are discussing and deciding on behalf of our nation. We pray that all our representative would seek You Father, because You alone are the ultimate authority. Help these elected men and women to recognize our rights are not granted by government but are given by You. We know we are all sinful, and we have fallen short, so we ask for an extra measure of humbleness for each of us. Truth and wisdom come only from You Lord. So please protect and strengthen each of our families. We pray for those who lead us and do not know the saving grace of Jesus Christ and pray they will come to know You. We ask all this in Jesus name. Amen

Day 16

O Lord our God we bow down before You asking for grace, wisdom, and courage—courage to stand firm in what we believe in, wisdom to know truth from evil, and grace to extend to those around us. Help us to be the people You have called us to be for in today’s society so many have lost sight of what is right and what is wrong. Be with our President and Vice President give them the wisdom, strength, and understanding to best serve this great country of ours, put Jesus’ blood of protection around them, keep them safe. We ask O Lord as the time draws near to election day take the blinders off those who are having problems seeing the truth, help us always to put You first, and shows us Your way. For you alone are King of kings, Lord of lords mighty and wonderful are You. O God of mercy be with us. These things we pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Please guide our path through life and make our enemies be at peace with us. Let Your peace reign in our family, at our place of work, businesses and everything we lay our hands on. Let Your angels of peace go ahead of us when we go out and stay by our side when we return. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Day 12

Lord, thank You for your greatness. Thank You that when we are weak, You are strong. Lord, the Evil-One is scheming and we know he desires to keep us from spending time with You. Don’t let him win! Give us a measure of Your strength so that we might not give into discouragement, deception and doubt! Help us to honor You in all our ways. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Day 11

Heavenly Father, we are so grateful for Your inspired Word with the beauty of Your principles and promises. However, we are bombarded by the world via social media, powerful influences and lies veiled as Truth. We ask, as Your people, that You keep us dependent and thirsty for the Scriptures with all clarity and wisdom as we navigate dark waters and confusing ideologies We confess that the only way to encourage growth in You and to make an impact in the world is to rely wholly on the Gospel and the worldview that You share so abundantly in Your Living Word. Thank Your Lord Jesus for hearing out prayer. Amen

Day 10

Heavenly Father give us a burden for those who are perishing without Christ a burden that drives us to call out to You Father for the salvation of their souls. Thank you for Jesus who gave His life, that people from every nation and land might be reached with the good news, that there is a Mediator who gave Himself as the ransom for their sins. Let such a heart for the lost pervade our church. Let such a heart pervade our lifes. We confess that we fall far short here Lord, we are so busy with our own interests that we’re indifferent to those who are “drowning” nearby. Father let the Holy Spirit speak to us through Your Word. Amen
