Heavenly Father, we bow down before You giving thanks for all the wonderful things You have done and continue to do in our lives. We ask for grace and mercy, still our spirits and give us that peace which passes all understanding. Hear our prayers O Lord for we live in a world where things can be so confusing, where right is now wrong and wrong seems to be upheld as good and true.

Therefore, we ask for Jesus’ of protection upon our President and Vice-President, our government officials, those running in this election, for our military, our police and firefighters. We know that all things work for good for those who love our Lord so we pray for help, guidance and courage to continue to do what is right and true. Help us O Lord open our eyes that we might see honesty and the light in the midst of this darkness. Be with us now as only you can. These things we pray in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
