Citizens of the State

After learning about our relationship with each other as individual Christians, Paul turns to a wider question about how we should view ourselves in light of the state in which we live. He instructs us on and how to think of ourselves as citizens within a state. We are to have a view of God’s mercies toward governing authorities.

Christianity is a missional faith; it contains the motive for sharing it. Paul guides as the greatest missionary in the history of the Christian church. As Christians, we need to learn from Paul’s ministry of evangelism and his success in spreading the gospel.
