To take the Gospel with you requires you to have the Gospel in you...

What does it mean to have the Gospel in you? It means that you have a position of peace that has been provided freely to you by the death and resurrection of Jesus. What does it mean to take the Gospel with you?  It means you are a proclaimer of the peace that God has given you.   You cannot proclaim the Gospel if you don’t have peace with God!

The armor of God is a call to submission. God is not requesting that we wear his armor but He is commanding us to wear his armor. Submission is active surrender to the greatness of Jesus, for the glory of Jesus, to experience the joy of Jesus.

We need to be reminded that grace is not of us. God’s powerful grace enables a powerful faith. Grace makes faith possible but faith makes victory possible. A strong faith is proof of a strong understanding of grace.  We need the shield of faith to believe the promises of God and embrace the protection that comes from Jesus vs our enemy.
