The Giving Tree is up in the lobby and ready for us to share some Christmas blessings! Redeemer has the opportunity to provide for families in Clinton County each year. Each family will receive a personal care basket, one gift as a household, one gift per adult, and three gifts per child. All families will also receive a Christmas food basket with ham and ingredients for a delicious Christmas breakfast and dinner! If you are unfamiliar with the Giving Tree, here's how it works: 1) Clinton County families that need some extra help this year are nominated by human service organizations and Redeemer attendees in October. 2) Gift suggestions are coded, put on labels and hung as ornaments on the tree. Anyone can select a tag from the tree and shop for the items. 3) Presents are wrapped by the donating family and returned to the church with the tag secured on the outside of the gift. We also accept monetary donations towards the purchase of Christmas hams, breakfast items, and gifts. Simply marked envelope with "Giving Tree” or give online through our website or app. We will need volunteers to help distribute the gifts and food. See our #bethechurch sign up to participate! Please return all gifts by Sunday, December 12th. The gifts will be sorted and distributed to families the following week.
