Dorothy was born November 15, 1931 and passed away January 25, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Ruth Brown; husband of 67 years James Ruff; daughter, Sharon Lynn Ruff Horner and brother Harold Brown. She was a member of Church of the Redeemer and her hobbies were growing and arranging flowers and playing tennis. Dorothy is survived by daughter Carol Sue Ruff Medlin and husband Ronnie; grandchildren Amber M. Medlin Higginbotham and husband Scott, Emily K. Medlin Gautreaux and husband CeJay, Timothy B. Medlin and wife Mary, Nathaniel T. Medlin and wife Amy and Katey W. Medlin; great-grandchildren, Molly Rose Higginbotham, Owen McVea Higginbotham, Lilah Kate Higginbotham, Persephone Joli Gautreaux, Elliette Dot Gautreaux, Emma Catherine Medlin and Lilly Marie Medlin; sister Marie Miller and a brother Dave Brown; a special friend and sitter Tammy Haynes.
