Pentecost 2019

The Spirit and our Identity

June 9, 2019 • Rev. Adam Feichtmann

Pentecost is upon us. The fiftieth day after Easter Sunday. The day we remember that the apostles received the permanent indwelling of the Holy Spirit. The day we celebrate that all Christians, like the apostles, have received the permanent indwelling of the Holy Spirit. In honor of Pentecost this Sunday, we will intentionally study the work of the Holy Spirit and specifically pay attention to how the Holy Spirit changes our identities and continues to remind us of who we are. To prepare for Sunday, take a few moments to read and meditate on the following Pentecost scripture passages: Genesis 11:1-9, Psalm 104, Acts 2:1-21, and Romans 8:14-17. I look forward to worshiping with you this Sunday! Pastor Adam
