Ruth is a great story.
The story begins with tragedy and heartache, and this week, in the second chapter, begins to move toward romance. As attraction ensues and tensions increase something else comes into view--the kindness of the Lord.
Join us this Sunday for worship on the lawn, or in the chapel, if weather necessitates, and we will take up this story together.

He was the Father of David
November 29, 2020 • Rev. Josh Hahne
This Sunday we conclude our sermon series on the Book of Ruth and we are getting political. Not American presidential politics, but the politics of ancient Israel and Davidic dynasty. Originally, this was critical to the story of Ruth and this Sunday we’ll seek to understand the way Ruth contributed to that national discussion as well as what it means for us today. Pastor Josh
There is a Redeemer
November 22, 2020 • Rev. Josh Hahne
This Sunday we are talking about redemption. It’s a loaded term, one that is central to the Scriptures, and in our church’s name. But, what does it mean? This question is at the heart of the story of Ruth. It’s a story that begins with tragedy, moves to romance, and has as its theme God’s steadfast love, his hesed. Join us this week for worship on the lawn and we’ll continue in the fourth chapter of Ruth. Pastor Josh
Act III - The Threshing Floor
November 15, 2020 • Rev. Adam Feichtmann
Risk. Suspense. Romance. This Sunday we will be studying chapter 3 in the book of Ruth. It is the climatic turning point in the drama. It is a scene that makes your jaw drop in response to some of the actions taken, and an event that keeps you on the edge of your seat, all while warming your heart. I look forward to worshiping with you (outdoors on the lawn as normal) this Sunday! Pastor Adam
