This week we will be beginning a new four-week series on the book of Ruth. To prepare for that series I encourage you to read that book in its entirety.
Chapter one begins with the story of a family that experiences massive loss. In their tragedy, Naomi, one of the main characters states “[T]he almighty has dealt very bitterly with me…” As much as anyone, Naomi had reason to mourn but, in her anguish, she missed glimmers of God’s steadfast love.
Join us on Sunday for worship on the lawn and together we will take up this story and learn from it together
