The Lord's Prayer

Fulfillment

June 5, 2022 • Pastor Daniel Ondov • Daniel 7:13–14, Romans 11:33–36

We conclude our series on the Lord’s Prayer looking at the last phrase, “For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever.” We will discover how we fulfill God’s purpose in His kingdom, by His power, and for His glory.

Deliverance

May 29, 2022 • Pastor Chad Ott • 1 Corinthians 10:12–13

Today we focus on the phrase from the Lord’s Prayer, “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.” Why do we keep making the same mistakes over and over and doing things we know are bad for us? Today we will learn how to break through our most common temptations and avoid the traps the evil one sets for us.

Release

May 22, 2022 • Pastor Chad Ott • Matthew 18:21–35

The Lord’s Prayer continues, “as we forgive those who trespass against us.” Why must we release those who have hurt us? As we consider the story of the unforgiving servant in Matthew 18, we will find out.

Cleansing

May 15, 2022 • Pastor Daniel Ondov • Hebrews 12:1–3, Luke 19:1–10

Today we continue in the Lord’s Prayer with “Forgive us our trespasses.” Forgiveness was modeled to us best in our Lord Jesus’ work on the cross. Through it we are able to have a fresh start and a clear conscience – both with God and with our fellow humans.

Dependence

May 8, 2022 • Pastor Daniel Ondov • Matthew 7:9–12, Psalm 104:27–30, 2 Corinthians 9:10–12

“Give us this day our daily bread” is God’s reminder to us that we are to trust Him to provide for us – every day. In lean times and in times of uncertainty, we should not look to Washington nor to Wall Street to provide for us, but to God.

Surrender

May 1, 2022 • Pastor Chad Ott • John 21:1–19

The second and third petitions of the Lord’s Prayer, “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven,” form a prayer of surrender. Today, we will learn four ways that surrender is the solution to stress.

Connection

April 24, 2022 • Pastor Chad Ott • Matthew 6:5–15

God is a person, not a power. You can connect and relate to Him personally because He is our Heavenly Father. But the word “father” can bring up all kinds of bad connotations. As a result of our earthly fathers’ fallibility, we may think of God the same way. But, in this message, we will see God for who He really is.
