We are given only one detail in our text from Job 14:1–17; one small part of a much larger story. But this one part—this one detail—is beautiful and it is enough. It is more than enough!
There’s a plan where all things work for our good and the Father’s glory. The secret is understanding how it all works together. Job puts it this way, “When he has tested me, I will come forth as gold” (Job 23:10).
