Sorrow and grief are powerful emotions that can make waiting feel unbearable. Yet, Advent reminds us that even in our deepest sorrow, God promises joy. In the third week of Advent, we’ll reflect on how sorrow and joy can coexist as we await the celebration of Christ’s birth. God turns our mourning into dancing, and we’ll explore how joy breaks through our sorrow with the promise of Jesus. As we continue our sermon and Life Group series, “What Are You Waiting For?” we’ll dive into the message, “Waiting in Sorrow,” drawing joy from Psalm 30:4-12.
