Paul speaks with Dr. Jacob Needleman about his book "What is God?" Needleman is a polar opposite of Paul theologically and philosophically, yet the two were able to engage in a fascinating conversation about their individual experiences in knowing God. Jacob Needleman is Professor of Philosophy at San Francisco State University, former Visiting Professor at Duxx Graduate School of Business Leadership in Monterrey, Mexico, and former Director of the Center for the study of New Religions at The Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California. He was educated in philosophy at Harvard, Yale and the University of Freiburg, Germany. Breaking News: Jesus wasn't born in a stable. In this conversation with New Testament scholar Dr. Ben Witherington, we destabilize (did you see what we did there?) many of the aspects of the Christmas Story that have no basis in facts or the Scriptures themselves.

In his book, "Allah: A Christian Response," theologian and scholar Dr. Miroslav Volf posits that Christians may have more in common with Muslims than they think, but most startling is the assertion that it is possible to be 100% Christian and also be a practicing Muslim.

Part One of a Two Part conversation with Dr. Ray Rhodes, the author of the recently released definitive biography of Susannah Spurgeon, wife of "the Prince of Preachers," Charles Haddon Spurgeon. While many Christians recognize the name of Charles H. Spurgeon, the beloved preacher and writer, few are familiar with the life and legacy of his wife, Susie. Yet Susannah Spurgeon was an accomplished and devout woman of God who had a tremendous ministry in her own right, as well as in support of her husband. Even while dealing with serious health issues, she administered a book fund for poor pastors, edited and published her husband’s sermons and other writings, led a pastor’s aid ministry, wrote five books, made her home a hub of hospitality, and was instrumental in planting a church. And as her own writing attests, she was also a warm, charming, and fascinating woman.

In Left, Right, and Christ, political opposites Lisa Sharon Harper of Jim Wallis’s Sojourners and David Innes of The King’s College offer their political perspectives as Christians. Besides intimating that each has political opinions and that each is a Christian, there’s little agreement.
