Why are you a Christian? Why have you been included in the fellowship of God's Son Our Lord Jesus Christ? The answer has nothing to do with you and everything to do with the God who IS faithful (Deuteronomy 7:6-9). In 1 Corinthians 1:4-9, the Apostle Paul gives us assurance that because God is faithful, He has called you, confirmed you, and is coming again for you.

The Apostle Paul asks for the prayers of his people, not for his own sake, but so that the mystery of the gospel might be proclaimed. He asks for two things specifically: "utterance" and "boldness."
