Why Pray? I Thess 5:17-18b, James 5:16b. Prayer is communicating with God. We’re just not sure our prayers make a difference, so we don’t pray. Prayer is not boring and it is NOT ineffectual. God loves the prayers of his people. There are many kinds of prayer. The purpose of prayer is not communication with God, but communion with God.
