Sexual Liberty: A Universal Human Right

Elizabeth “came out” in her early 20s and attended a Presbyterian Church (USA) seminary openly lesbian after questioning her sexuality for several years. As a student in seminary between 2000 and 2003 I

she lobbied for marriage and ordination of LGTBQ individuals and ministered among gay youth, espousing a theology that embraced homosexuality. Upon graduating, she served as a youth pastor in a small rural community, where an encounter with Jesus radically shifted her perspective. The love of God drew her into a revelation that led to repentance and healing. She married my husband, Doug, in 2005.

Elizabeth co-founded CHANGED Movement, a network of men and women who have walked away from LGBTQ identity. In addition to member support, CHANGED Movement works with legislators and think tanks to protect the First Amendment Rights of all of us seeking freedom from LGBTQ culture and its social labels.

She holds a Masters in Theology and is completing her Doctor of Ministry degree in New Testament Theology at Houston Theological Seminary at Houston Christian University in Texas. She teaches emerging leaders at Bethel Church’s School of Ministry in Redding, California, where she is a licensed pastor.

Once Gay Always Gay? Findings from 30 Case Studies

For decades, Linda felt like a man trapped in a female body and was exclusively attracted to women. Today, she is content in a female body and wholly attracted to men, offering a unique, compassionate perspective as one who once struggled with her own sexuality and gender identity. An ordained Assemblies of God minister, Linda shares candidly from her own struggles coupled with a strong scriptural foundation and the latest scientific research regarding the origins of same-sex attractions and transgender desires. Linda earned a PhD from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. Her recently released book, "Trans-Formation", was based on her dissertation of 30 case studies of men and women who were once same-sex attracted and have experienced transformation. Dr. Seiler is the Executive Director of "ReStory Ministries" whose goal is to equip and resource churches to address homosexuality and gender identity.
