Throughout the life of Jacob, we see a pattern of him continually using others for his own gains and purposes. He consistently acted deceitfully and in self-protection which stood in contradiction to the faith of his father and grandfather. One day he came face to face with the Lord, and none of these tricks would work for him this time. But this encounter would turn out to be one of the most important moments in Jacob’s life. In this message, guest speaker Israel Wayne takes us through some lessons we can learn from the life of Jacob and admonishes us to come face to face with who we really are and to fight for a real life in God.
