Come Unto Me

Ed Buch

December 29, 2021

In Matthew 11, we see the heart of Christ when He says, “Come unto me all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." These words reflect His heart for sinners, for those who are broken, those needing healing, and even His heart for the hypocritical Pharisees. Some would heed that call, but many would reject it. That’s still true today.

We’re excited to begin a new sermon series where our chapel speakers will be preaching through the life of Jesus. And this week, Pastor Ed starts us off by examining this great call of Christ in the gospels and how it isn’t an invitation to religion, dogma or denomination. It’s an invitation to Jesus Himself.

Jesus: The Only Way to the Father

April 24, 2024

Whenever Jesus used the phrase, “I am,” He was purposely identifying Himself with God. And when He said that He was “the way,” He was giving us one way of understanding the power and manner of His work for mankind. And in this sermon, Pure Life Residential Program Director, Luke Imperato, connects these great statements about Jesus to the great need of the man or woman struggling with pornography addiction and other forms of sexual sin. As Jesus’ time with His disciples was ending, He did the last thing they expected: He humiliated Himself by washing their feet, even of the traitor, Judas. Have you experienced the love of Jesus like this? We hope this message helps you come into a true sight of the Savior’s love.
