Sometimes we pretend we understand something because we don't want to be embarrassed by asking questions. The church should be the safest place to ask clarifying questions.
As parents, set an example for your kids. Admit when you don't understand something and ask questions.

Parenting is the toughest job you will ever have and it's the most rewarding job you will ever have.
How do you overcome parenting mistakes?
1. Humility: Be humble and admit that you made a mistake. James 4:6
2. Honesty: Be honest. It builds trust and your relationship with your kids over time.

I am excited to be working with VC Family in our Sunday school to teach kids memory verses. We have learned a lot of memory verses over the last few months, but this one is a long one. I want to thank you, parents, for helping your kids learn these verses, but now I want to challenge you to learn with them. These hand motions are so easy, and even adults can learn them. 😇 On a serious note, I think it'll be great if parents learn these verses, along with their kids, to prove to the kids that you can learn with them.
