Advent is a time of expectantly waiting. Simeon and Anna spent their life expectantly waiting by devoting themselves to seeking the Holy Spirit in prayer and fasting, serving in the kingdom by making themselves available to the Lord and gathering with the Lord's people in the temple and choosing to join God in what He is doing. What would it look like if we chose to live like Simeon and Anna?
