12/25 I Believe in an Immanuel God

Who is the God you believe in? Two weeks ago we explored the Creator God we believe in. Last week we saw how He is a covenant keeping God who calls us to trust Him, follow Him, and gives us Jesus. This week we worship the God who is near. So near that He is with us, Immanuel. The creator showed up as the created. The covenant keeper came to keep the covenant we were unable to keep. God came to dwell with us and walk with us and point us to the Father who loves us.
12/18 I Believe in a Covenant Keeping God

Who is the God you believe in? Last week we saw how He created. This week we see how He is a covenant keeping God who calls us to trust Him, follow Him, and gives us Jesus. We also enter a covenant in baptism where God comes near with the Holy Spirit. We begin a journey of transformation, learning to trust and follow and be the image bearer we are called to be, even though we do it imperfectly.
