Living into the Promise of Love

The message highlights the ultimate promise of God's love, fulfilled through Jesus Christ. Unlike worldly promises, God’s promise begins with His presence, His love, and His purpose for us. It calls us to trust that God is with us, equips us for good works, and makes all things possible through faith. By embracing this promise, we are invited to live in obedience, courage, and love, sharing God’s grace with others and finding hope in His unfailing love. This is the promise of love that transforms and sustains us.

When we think of faith, we focus on our faith and how we ask, "how long?" But God also asks us, "how long?" We learn patient faith from who God is and His patient faith toward us.

What did you expect to happen? Usually this is connected to logical consequences to our poor choices. But when we think of Jesus, what do we expect? Do these expectations fit with the Jesus we know and the Bible we read?

Waiting for Our Savior

We continue our Christmas season with advent waiting. Waiting for the coming of Jesus. We wait with hope based on the promises and zeal of God. We prepare by bearing fruit and walking the way of Jesus and we rejoice in the future that we have hoped and prepared for. This is the entire worship service because the message was interspersed throughout.
