9/11 Can God Use Me?

God used Peter, a common Jewish fisherman, who simply listened to Jesus’ words, “Come, follow me.” Peter was not perfect but God still used him in growing the kingdom of God. Sometimes we ask, can God use me? Peter’s life gives us courage and hope that God can and will use us in kingdom work when we imperfectly give ourselves as slaves to righteousness.

12/4 Who Will I Become?

Today we begin with a great question; who will I become? Based on how you lived last week & what you plan to do this week, who will you become? Will you become an elder like Peter talks to in this passage? Why not? Will you grow toward Jesus or not? What stands in your way? Maybe you need to remember or meditate on one of these characteristics of God and how He can transform you. A God you can trust in.

11/20 Glorify God in Your Life

Peter views the suffering of Jesus and the judgement of the flood as an archetype of baptism and a call to a transformed life. Baptism is the beginning of new life with new values, new relationships, new attitudes that lead to a clear conscience as we walk with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We hope you spend time with the words of Peter and consider your own life trajectory and how God is calling you to live for Him.
