5/16 Ambitious Dreams

Saul is anointed king and God has a dream for his life, his families' future and for the kingdom. Unfortunately, Saul chooses a different dream, one that focuses on appeasing other people. Will we live Saul's dream or God's dream?

Questions to Ponder with Today's sermon.
1) Confess where you have been like Saul in your life & repent in prayer.
2) What would living the Divine Dream look like in your own life? What would you do or not do? What areas would be easy v hard?
3) Pray for God to give you the steadfastness to give up all else & follow His dream for your life.

As we wrap up our study on dreams we look at how those who love God, listen for God, listen to God, then live it. This is the Divine Dream, living in step with God like so many examples in the Bible.

Today we celebrate mothers. The sacrifices they make, the love they pour out, & how they raise us. We are encouraged to love our mothers and thank them for all they do and to listen to mothers and bless them.

There are 2 types of dreams. One happens when we sleep, the other is our hopes and aspirations for the future. Today we are talking about the 2nd type and how God has a dream for our lives. A dream that has been the same throughout history. Will we choose God's dream or something else?
