2/20 Cross-Shaped Worship

Have you ever wondered why we do what we do on Sunday morning? Why do we sing, take communion, listen to a sermon, and give? Today we look at how each part of worship is purposeful in our journey of discipleship. Each thing we do on Sunday morning joins the heavenly beings and the 1st century church together in 'cross-shaped worship'.

Last week we followed Jesus in the 'Power Y' of UP, IN, & OUT. This week we see how the church followed this balanced model right after 3000 were baptized and added to the church. We also explore the barriers and dysfunctions of not living part of the 'Power Y' that Jesus models for us.
