"I Got To Press" Part 2

We must continue cultivating an attitude of pressing towards God’s Kingdom. When we have unbelief, this will prevent us from pressing into the promises that God gives us on earth.

Senior Pastor Travis Tullis continues to remind us that we can still press toward the Kingdom of God by faith in scriptures Luke 16:13-16, Mark 2:1-5, 1 John 3:8, John 10:10, John 6:35, Ephesians 1:3, Hebrews 11:6, Mark 2:1-5 and Philippians 3:10-15.

The gospel which is the good news of Jesus Christ lets us know that we can press towards God’s living water and the bread of life, we will never thirst and hunger. While we have God’s living water and His bread of life, we must fight for all of God’s blessings by pressing toward His heavenly blessings which are already available to us.

Although there are challenges, we face in life, we still have the power to press and overcome our battles by being more than a conqueror. When we set our affections on things above, we can stop, drop, and pray by pressing into God’s promises of abundant living.

Thank you, Senior Pastor Tullis, for leading us forward and higher together by knowing that we must diligently seek the Kingdom of God by pressing toward His heavenly blessings and sharing His spiritual and physical blessings in Christ Jesus.

"I Got To"

As Christians we should walk according to what God says, because we are members of His Royal Priesthood. Assistant Pastor Yevette Russell urges us to understand through scriptures Psalm 42: 1-3, and 1 Peter 2:1-7, that we must accept that we are a royal priesthood and should teach the gospel to the entire world. As a royal priesthood, we are to walk only with Jesus so we can bring light into this dark world. When we receive our Christian mandate to teach about Jesus, we need to say to ourselves “I Got To” receive God’s living water. We should have a desire and a thirst for Christ while we become transformed into a new creature. While being transformed we must be the light in dark places because we have been called out of darkness. When the Royal Priesthood comes together into the light we can become better together through Christ Jesus. Christians should come together and put both feet into the Kingdom of God. The voice of the Lord is what we should be following while we are gathering together. What we do for each other in Christ Jesus as Christians puts us in unity in the Kingdom of God. In this Royal Priesthood, we can latch on to one another for strength, wisdom, joy, love, and peace. Thank you, AP Russell, for providing this strong message from God. This will lead us forward and higher together as we continue to learn and gather in the Royal Priesthood to bear much fruit together.

“I Got to Press” toward the Kingdom of God is a powerful Kingdom mindset that we must acquire to have peace in our souls. When we focus on pressing toward the Kingdom of God, we can experience God’s heavenly blessings which He has already given to us by faith. Senior Pastor Travis Tullis reminds us that we can receive the gospel of Jesus Christ by pressing toward the Kingdom of God through scriptures Mark 1:14-15, 1 Peter 2:9, and Luke 16:13-16. The gospel is the good news of Jesus Christ and His Kingdom. This good news of God’s Kingdom gives us strength through the Holy Spirit by pressing to overcome the issues in our lives, with faith and obedience. While we have this opportunity to receive God’s good news, we must be willing to press in and seek His Kingdom first by serving one master which is Jesus Christ. When we press towards the Kingdom of God, we can receive the invitation to come out of darkness and into His marvelous light. Thank you, Senior Pastor Tullis, for leading us forward and higher together by knowing that we must press toward the Kingdom of God by receiving the gospel, which is the good news of Jesus Christ.
