What does it mean to give honor to someone or something? We often think that we have to completely agree with someone in order to give them honor. The fact of the matter is that honor doesn’t require agreement. You can honor heart-to-heart without seeing eye to eye with them. God calls us to honor the position, not necessarily just the person. Have a boss who asks too much of you? Honor them. Have a parent who may not have been the best parent to you? Honor them anyway.
